W5LZ is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Kantronic '9612' TNC

Anybody using/have one? I was 'presented' with one and asked to program it, so I need to do some brain 'picking'. I've got the proper programming details from a 'KPC-3', but so far haven't even figured out how to find the '9612's programming setup. Any help would be very much appreciated. No 'paper' manual, but do have a sort of generic electronic manual from the Kantronic's site.

Never used that one, sorry. Have you used XPWare for Windows? It has the generic TNC selection for Kantronics, I bet it would work to connect to the thing. From there, I bet the basic KPC-3 commands will work to do the basic stuff.
