A small 3 or 5 amp supply will power it with no problems.

Why would you tell someone that...not funny.

Get a power supply rated for at minimum 10A continuous duty for that radio.

I would strongly recommend buying one that is rated 20A continuous duty as you will need it eventually once you get yourself a typical 100W HF rig. So it won't be money wasted.
