Default Newbie needing help with expansion channels

Hi everyone I'm hoping someone can help me here. I am looking to find out how to setup expansion channels on an Icom 302 and Icom 502 vhf radios. This is all new to me so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Just for 'grins', why would you want to expand the channels?

Well, I'm an old timer and had an ICOM 502 and it was a 6 meter, 3 watt SSB handheld (barely) transceiver. That's what I understand a 502 is.

Yeah, I couldn't find much info on it other than what k2wh said, either. I think your options are pretty limited on this one.
