Default ? How to configure ICOM IC-200T

Hello and thanks for reading this message. Could anyone help me with
some info. I have been given an ICOM IC-U200T (UHF).
When I enter the known code (user password) only ‘reCH’ appears in the display. I assume that it is not configured. Therefore I need a how-to for manual programming. Some French papers is all I found with Google.
Would it be possible to get the rig onto 70 cms......????.
Any info would be Most helpful. Many thank's again and I look forward to
hearing from you.

Thanks for the links.
I've downloaded these documents month ago, read them x times and still think they are crap.
Neither the user manual nor the service manual describes how to manualy configure the IC-U200T rig.

In another ICOM manual called "H16/U16 U2 V100/U400 V200/U200 V201 Programming/Cloning Maintenance Set" they write
"The IC-U2, ICV200, IC-U200 and IC-V201 habe no direct programming mode an cannot be used the MASTER transceiver."

I really do not belive this. Because I've read several reviews about this modell. Several OMs claimend to have programmed it by hand years ago before they brought a new one or a computer.

Maybe we can focus on this "reCH". What does it really mean?
