Drifter, I have a 400 motor maul. The - & + terminals gets hot. The regulator is never set on but pretty adquate I use a voltmeter. Do i have a serious problem(s)? The maul was working fine before I took it out of my 1992 Dodge van and install it into my F150. I am using 1/0 cable to the terminals but a 2 guage from vehicle battery to the maul.
