stryker sr 955 hp version II

With the proper tweaking you make them swing as you wish. It's a matching game between the HI and LOW output power, and the HI and LOW modulation settings. Once you get the feel of setting them up, it's a breeze.

This is a sign you might be OLD!

I started not sleeping well about 30 years ago. Mostly, had trouble with falling asleep and waking early. After spending hours of research time, I began taking 2mg of melatonin every night 1/2 hour before bedtime and not watching TV in bed. It worked, so I kept it up. After about 5 or 6 years I...

    13.8 Power Cord Size

It's a big challenge but with an exacto knife, a good iron and some heat shrink tube. It can be done. After making mine, I would suggest 10ga.

    13.8 Power Cord Size

I looked forever until I stumbled upon this guy. Can't remember the part number. Like a dumbass, I didn't write it down. On the good side, He DOES have what you need and is very prompt with email questions. I THINK, this is the one you need. It is a take-off, but comes with fresh pins: CB3PP-FP...

    13.8 Power Cord Size

Yes, I used fresh plugs that came with new inserts and soldered them up. The plugs are in two pieces, held together with screws

    13.8 Power Cord Size

I got hold of some of those new, fresh plugs and used 8ga. It wasn't easy and took a bit of surgery inside the plug to allow the insulation to fit, but I made up a few of them. They worked perfectly and went from dropping more then .6V to only dropping .2v or so. I understand that it isn't much...

    13.8 Power Cord Size

I'm not sure. The original is 12ga I think, possibly 14ga. I know the V2 is heavier than the V1. Standard length I THINK is about 6'.

    13.8 Power Cord Size

I know this doesn't meet the normal consensus, but my Stryker 955 is idled at 14.5V, and on AM using a 10W deadkey it used to drop to 13.9V. After building an 8GA power wire, the voltage now holds at 14.3, even during modulation. Take that for whatever it means.

    FREQUENCY AND TIME FOR CONTACTS

I just had a very good qso with Kate 26 out of Canterbury england. It seems that the UK is dominating the band right now.

Delta Electronics DSP60M for $189 yes or no

On sideband, driving it to the max, but not overdriving it, I'm getting 59.7 amps at 14.3 volts. The amp is putting out nearly 650 pep

Delta Electronics DSP60M for $189 yes or no

I've not really checked mine accurately. But, I have a meter that shows about 47A when using SSB. I never use it on AM so I cannot tell you about the dead pull. I've got a clamp-on meter and when I fire it up today I'll hit it hard and get a quick peak on it for you.

Delta Electronics DSP60M for $189 yes or no

I currently use 3 of the 50A models because the 50A are made to be ganged without an external current sharing circuit. I use two in parallel for my DX-500 and a single one for my radio.
