    Whim: Got the J-pole in the attic tuned up pretty well a couple of months ago - about 1.1 on 2 meters and 1.5 on 70 cm. Just received an Endfedz EF-SWL Receive only antenna. Not sure the best way to install it outside yet. I've contacted a couple of local Elmers to assist. I'm looking forward to the arrival of the Grundig 750 next week. I've read good reviews about it. The Icom receivers are too rich for me, and I don't want used.

    Thanks. Yes. Because of the community I am in, stealth is a necessity. Deed restrictions, nosey neighbors, and available technology create a stealth-friendly environment.
