Kinda funny i have a Lincoln 2+ I bought from bells and it does the same thing. Rf power down swr goes up Rf power up swr goes down.

So You need a 4x4 section for your swr to be good?

So does a fender hood mount count the same as a hard mount? Is it better than a mag center roof mount?

My 955 is noisy as well but so is my Lincoin 2+ I was able to cut the noise in half by going from a fender hood mount to a Stryker A10 mag mount. Much quieter but I still get tons of noise when I’m driving around town. 5 to 6db worth! My grant xl has hardly any noise to speak of no matter where...

When I was younger I used a super big stick and had it in a 120 foot tree and I was on a hill about 500 feet here in Oregon. I could talk skip like no other! Now I know it always depends on conditions but I had nothing but good luck with that setup.

I’ve noticed the same thing on my Stryker sometimes when I dead key. The power meter does fluctuate for a little bit then it calms down. But then again I never think any radios in my truck are working properly lol!

It’s in my truck so voltage is around 13.6
