Let me state a few points
A. None of the RADIO RELATED sections here require Premium Membership
2. Sure, donations help keep the forum operating, but the owner is also using the money to give away prizes
D. One of the benefits of Premium Memberships is that you can change your own User Title, think about it :drool:

I remeber years ago the forum had a open section . If you wanted to see it all you had to do is pm a admin and you would be granted. Good deal if ppl dont like what they see there its there own fault for going there and looking

thanks for having and maintaining this high quality, free forum. I have used it repetitively as a resource, sharing and learning. I have very strong feelings along the lines of religion and politics, and it is, IMHO, a good thing that you have protected the integrity of this forum from the likes of who I might become in a moment that my dander got riled.
You are correct in reaffirming the primary purpose of this forum - radio - although the other stuff was good for a laugh or two. Guess I'll have to pay the fiddler to hear the song.

I find that the arguments that come from discussions of religion and politics always bring out the worst in people, specially on the internet. No one is going to change anyone else's mind on either topic, so all there is left is an argument.

Who said it has anything to do with math? If someone wants to contribute $200 or $500 to be a premium member, they can be a premium member forever...there's just no way to set it like that with the forum software. The other amounts are set as a "contribute what you like" type of deal.
Don't try to use math to figure out our income tax structure, either. It will drive you nuts.
Politics, religion, & other controversial threads have driven away more members from the site than it has attracted. This way only those that care enough about the site to contribute will be affected by it, and only if they choose to be a part of it.

As a regular participant (and originator of a few threads) in the Political Junkies section, it's just not worth $15 to debate Highlander over the validity (or invalidity) of U.S. foreign policy.
