Well Ive been scanning for some time now, and Id like to pick up a mobile scanner, but radioshack only has 2 featured, and Im not up to date on good brands of mobiles so I was coming here to ask if anyone knew of a decent reliable mobile scanner around $100 to $200. Im actually lookin for around $100, I know things dont come cheap but my absolute limit would have to be $200 if I can even get that. I really wish I could get a PRO 96 but obviously that isnt in the price range.

Thanks for any help.

Go to the Uniden site, they have reconditioned scanners that are pretty cheap. I have bought 2 of them and they work perfectly.

i'm still baffled that i picked up a radio shack pro 97 Tri trunk scanner for $5. its a little beat up didn't come with the battery holder or AC cord but i got all that on a site... this scanner is very nice Confusing too as im not too fond of handheld scanners.
