Auto 19 mod...

I know that if you have a 29LTD Classic (old style with side mic) You can cut D32 and change the norm/9 switch to be 19 instead of 9.

What about the 25's and 66's?

I know the newer 29's have a norm/9/19 switch so this dont work with them.

Can anyone enlighten me on this as I have a 66 that is mounted behind the seat of my pickup and I like to run on channel 23 and 19 but I can only feel the radio, not see it! So the switch mod would be a great thing for me!

Anyone?
 

The radios you described are small radios......you can't find a better place to mount it than behind the seat?????
 
psycho it is a simple question and no reason to down some ones choice in a radio of which I own several. The answer is no you can not mod the Cobra 25/Uniden 66 to have the ch. 9 switch go to 19 as in the case of the Cobra 29.

And as far as where I mounted it, no!
My wife is so short that the seat has to come all the way forward for her to drive the pickup. She has not ever driven it yet but I have to leave that option open because I do care about her ability to drive it if she needs too.
