More and more CB radios turning up at hamfeast.

Reminds me of the old "Hot Wheels vs. Matchbox" fight. They're all die-cast vehicles. And (we?) are all radio enthusiasts. So let it go.

At least CB is radio related.

I don't discriminate, CB is a cheap way to get into HF.

How you've come to say such a thing, when all I did was describe most ham's possesiveness of their spectrum, is beyond me. Your exageration and hyperbole is actually quite amusing. I think I struck a nerve! ;)

This is the kind of bullshit that happens EVERYTIME the subject of ham radio versus CB comes up. Invariably someone says something that gets taken out of context and the bickering starts all over again. Personally I would like to delete every thread that pops up concerning this topic because it always ends the same way but since my feelings are not the only ones that matter this thread shall remain open but lets be civil and let common sense prevail.

Oh, I did not know that.
OK we did get kind of wayyy off topic a bit, and it is a heated issue anyway.
Some guys like Chevy `s and some like Ford`s
Same thing with radio, some guy`s like to play Cb n some like to play Ham.

C/K is correct as to his view as a Admin, when this kind of thread gets started, it usually turns into a train wreck by the time it is over....
Human nature I guess?

Yes a train wreck indeed.

Taking the time now to thank CK for his patience.

On the other hand, as soon as food was mentioned the train wreck was cleaned up and a better topic was discussed.
