In California, SB144 passed, moving to senate for quick signage into law - unlawful to open carry unloaded handguns in public.


Judged ruled that there is no right to carry concealed - appeal will commence.


John Stewart calls for renewed Assault Weapons Ban.


Gun Free School Zone (GFSZ) proposed extension to 1500 feet and minor change of exemption language.


I'll feel so much safer when those bad people must leave their guns at home.

you cant carry a concealed weapon , loaded or unloaded .....
you cant carry a loaded or unloaded gun in public ................

how do you get the damn thing home from the store ? or to the shooting range ? or to the hunting location ?

the only people their laws will have any effect on will be the people not causing any problems to start with . criminals are gonna keep on doing what they do like they always have and always will ..... until they are caught or killed .

Well it's coming. I think you will be seeing alot more of this. Remember what they said about us in PA, We stick to our God and guns so we are way behind the times. They will use every excuse to ban guns.

i tend to agree with David on that one, the last thing america is becoming is communist, more like a capitalist dictatorship.

as for a gun ban, thats about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike unless its accompanied by a ban on producing guns too. But as exporting death is americas main export the chances of that happening are a bit less than elvis,osama and saddam doing a trio of the american trilogy.

people say guns don't kill people, people kill people, which to an extent is true, but without a gun its a damn sight harder to kill someone, it takes balls to plug someone close up and personal and look them straight in the eyes (which ironically is the favoured method in my city).
 
I dont think a gun ban will ever happen in TX. I think us Texas folk would tell the government to get screwed!! You would not believe the amount of people where I live that have the concealed carry license. Trust me I sell guns everyday.....
