I am a new radio user and have recently purchased a Wouxun KG-UVD1P radio. I programmed about 10 channels to the radio via the programming software/computer and USB cable. I wrote them to the radio and can read them on the computer on the radio.

However, I have no idea how to find them on the radio.

I am a novice in the operation of these radios for sure. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I know this is a dumb question. But was your radio pluged in, and turned on before writing to radio? And you go a confirmation that the writing was a susess? Also you should see a blue line going across the bottom of the screen when it's writing. If not do it again. When it done correctly the channels will show up when turned on.

You may have the radio in frequency mode and need to switch it to channel mode. To do that, push the "MENU" button and then push the "TDR" button, that will toggle the radio back and forth between frequency and channel mode.

OK, guys, thanks for the help for the begining user. Switching to the channel mode is all that was needed. Thanks a lot.

One more questions for the guys with all the knowledge.

Can you see the channel "names" that you gave to the channels rather than the channel numbers?

Thanks in advance.
