I have kinda dropped of the radio world map lately cause I have been occupied rebuilding a 31 year old motorcycle. A 1981 CB900C Honda. Kinda did a bobber treatment on it and rebuilt the engine. Well it is done! Did I miss anything? lol

I like the older rice. What's the deal with the tank? The finish and decal?

Old tank was rotted so I bought a new tank off of ebay. Finish is me being me. I liked the raw steel look so I left it that way. Decal is the infamous and ancient Chi-Rho

It turns heads. Most people have no idea what it is but they seem to like it.

btw - here is a shot of my current CB rig:

The rear fender and motor design give it away. Is the tank clear coated, too?

tank is just raw steel. wipe it down with some wd-40 once in a while to keep the rust off it.

Thanks for the hello shockwave. That TRC tied to a AMPower (hahahahahaha) fucked up more by Justin Depolis amp? hahahahahahaha

When I am on the air it is usually on 40 or 80 meters these days.

Nice bike! I like the bobber look. Get rid of that giant tail light and side mount the license plate and it will be even sweeter :D

I just finished the stage 1 on my Sportster and have been riding to work every day for the past two weeks...except when it's raining. Too much damn chrome!!!!

yup - Honda put that bike out in 1980 (I bought a brand new one then when I was 24) to compete with the Kz900. My best friend had one. IT was an eight valve head and the new Honda had a 16 valve head. I could pull away from him much to his dismay.

Kawasaki pretty much ruled the streets up till then, after that it became a displacement war with Suzuki and Yamaha joining the fray.

The KZ900 was the 1/4 mile beast of the day.

Nice job on the bike, Lazy. I don't like the Jappers much but that one is nice.

Mucho gusto Senor Culo, lol.
