just made a call on 455 without any luck,but had wp4ofo make a call a few minutes after I sat mic down
Made some mobile calls on 455 a couple hours ago-nothing. Just made a few from base within last hour-nothing either. Only hear a few stations on 10 & even 11 isn't wide open at this time.

Just made contact with somebody 50 miles north of phoenix on 455. Then georgetown tx, a call ending in 'ufa' & somebody in witchita ks. Anybody?

Was on the band this morning, 1400z, local rag chewing.
Iceland came in 5-9. No static and band seemed dead.
This evening 2200Z the Nevada SSB net was on 28.350 booming in but then the rain came and the band went dead here in N. Florida.

The QSB was BAD today, enough to make contact and that is all she wrote.. down to the other bands I go and see what stirs up from asia?
Might try 14.322 in a while
