Durango Install

While I can appreciate the work going into this installation.... I am still scratching my head with the choice of rigs. Huge console, easy to hide just about any nice radio. Especially some of the newer small frame ones, either export or straight CB.

Different strokes for different folks!

I would think that ventilation to the amp is going to be a problem as well if he stays on the radio for long at all.

I like the covert radio and being able to pull the antenna and toss it in the back.

Fatboy amp, Wilson 1000 drill through roof mount and a POS radio like that? WTF?
Make sure that amp is covered up well so it can keep cool!

let's hope operator can even hear the fan so if it fails he can get off the key!

Looks like a stealth install to prevent theft, but i would prop the lid open with a stick to help expel the heat on the amp!

under the seats is a classic water trap in most vehicles, add zilcho ventilation, methinks not the best place to be putting an amp.

as for the midland radio, i've found a much better hiding place for them:
