Aloha,
What would be a fair price for my Lincoln. Just putting a feeler out there..
Thanks!!

President Lincoln 10 Meter Ham Radio.
Comes with all the original, mic, bracket, hardware, power cord, manual and box, with matching serial numbers. Bought brand new, and I am the original owner. Condition of all equipment is in like-new condition electronically, physically, and cosmetically. This President Lincoln was tuned by "Rogerbird" who is considered the best in the country on this radio.
Rogerbird's enhancements are as follows:

• AM modulation/mic gain
• MRF 497 upgrade
• Enhanced receive circuit
• Complete alignment
• External speaker jack

Hi Quicksilver, long time no see! Prices are all over the place on these rigs... but I know from the past that you always have really nice radio equipment, so I would assume higher end being 250-325. Many people scoff at this, but they truly are "still" great rigs, and hard to beat if you are a serious sideband operator.

I guess I will be a scoffer.

In practical terms, it's an old radio. I buy things to use. I do not collect or reminisce. I would pay no more than $150 in it's current state.

However, there are dudes out there that will pay more. Your obviously looking for a buyer such as that.

You have two choices.

1. Ask for offers. I myself, will never make an offer on anything, no matter how bad I want it. I believe if a man can't figure out what the hell he wants for something, then he ain't getting my money.

2. Put it on eBay with a high reserve.

Not being an ass, but these old rigs were good when they came out. Nowadays, there are far better things to buy than spending money on these old failure proned albatrosses.

Comes down to what someone will pay and how bad they want it. Off hand 175-250 range. If it won't get booted you could advertise it like mint as new original collector radio blah blah blah on E-Bay. Take nice clean clear pics and I bet it tops 300 bucks easy.

Ebay will boot it off fairly quick unless you don't mention it is a Lincoln and take pictures that don't show much. I would pay $175 for a nice Lincoln or trade?

They are a fun radio as the hr2510 was, but they are at the end of their lifespan....so repair will be needed, I just sold my pretty clean HR2510 in box complete with a palomar FET400 LD for $220 Canadian.

ummmm yea. i agree with that.
on the other hand, this is income tax refund season.....e bay, high reserve! you never know......:)

A 2510 and Lincoln are better than all export radios available today. These gems NOS or mint condition get big money.
