Not sure if anyone "in the know" is going to see your question, so I'll tell you what I know (which ain't much).
Irv's margarita machine consisted of a garbage disposal in the lower bucket with the "intake" (drain) mounted in the Gott cooler on top. The output of the disposal ran to a tee with a spigot on one leg and a return line to the tank on the other.
Dump ice and ingredients into the cooler on top, flip the switch and the ice gets ground and the ingredients mixed in the disposal, then returned to the cooler. After it's mixed, open the spigot, switch on the disposal, and your cup fills with a mind alternating slurpee.
