Do a search for tube specs on the tubes compare data sheets and you should find your answer.
For filament voltage what is the difference between 20 and 23?
20lf6 takes 20 volts to light the filament, 23js6 takes 23 volts.
The assumption on my part is that it is a Kenrich Eagle 400 or 5xx series.
The 20LF6's never saw 20 volts on the filaments because most houses are set up at 117 vac at the electrical outlets. 117 divided by 5 is not 20.
Plug the new tubes in, you will have to either add a turn on the tank coil, I beleive that there is a jumper ther already; if so, move it in the direction to add more inductance.
