Note: V16 is really the maximun solid state power amplifier immaginable for mobile uses. As well as for the power delivered, V16 is very special from the mechanical point of view. In fact it's very small regarding the very high powers handled.
Very interesting is the solution of a separate remote control (Control Box) able to manage all the functions of the amplifier. It shows also the VSWR on antenna, the average RF output power and the "true" PeP output power that's a very important parameter to evaluate the quality of "radio".
On V16 we put all the possible care on protection and on monitoring the status of the amplifier when working.

What's the price tag on that?? Looks nice!! Bet it makes your wallet a lot lighter! But man it does look good!!

Definitely a lot of dollars!! I am just not sure how well it would hold up over time say like 7-10 years from now how will it perform? With proper usage that is.

At 4,640 watts of collector dissipation, full electronic protection and transistors that can handle a 30:1 VSWR mismatch, I'd expect reliability to be very good. That's 640 watts more dissipation than a 3CX3000A7!!!
