I remember where I use to live back in the 80s there was 3 brothers that put up towers over 100 feet high and had big beams on them ran Tram D201s with 2 KW blackcat amps these brothers lived one on the west end of the county one lived in the east end of the county and one lived right in the middle of town they would run all that power dirty I might add threaten peoples lives and property just to show others what they could do and get away with it and tear the hell out of police and fire communications as luck would have it the direction they had to point their beams the center point was at a place we called "Police Tower Hill" that where most of the emergency communication equipment was located this went on for over 2 years before the city and county governments got the FCC involved because from what I understood was it was a FCC that had to take the action not the locals.
Well to make a long story short the FCC came into town busted in on the brothers arrested them rook all their equipment and they lost their homes vehicles all that went to the local governments now I worked for one of those local government and they had to pull the towers down because they couldnt get anyone that was brave enough to climb them in other words a big stinking mess
