I just talked to the west indies on my old General Radio Telephone Super MC-11A....2 watt dk with 7 watt swing.......and not just a brief contact..but a about a 5 minute conversation.....hows that for low power DX talking.
That was a great contact Eastside, especially on "super bowl" weekend!

Yeah...ch-6 is usually a mess.....it was quiet and this one guy was calling out......2 watts to the west indies.:w00t:
It's been funny here in FL the past few days. The other day it seemed that we could talk to anyone even had a bunch of short dx within the state. Weird conditions that don't happen too often. Good old Mother Nature was in our favor. It's definitely fun!! Happy dx'ing and god bless.
