Ladies and Gents:

Want to test the water and see how many scrappers willing to go out and enjoy our local waters for over night fishing at our local islands???

Currently to charter a 85' footer will run $3,400 plus galley fess and tips. I would like to see how many serious fisherman willing to go out and wet their lines??? So looking for 25 serious fishing poles willing to go out drink some beer and wet their lines and really enjoy a full day of fishing.

I need minimum 20 poles @ $150 per pole and I'll pick up the difference from there on

Looking to be on the water in mid August and need plenty of time to reserve the boat.

We can leave 22nd street San Pedro or Long Beach but need to have body counts and deposits for all you serious fisherman.

Sign up here and lets hear some suggestions

85' is a very large boat and will more than likely have many other groups on there full of tourists.

For that price I'd think a private SCRAPer venture on a boat half the size, open booze and galley, would have a much better time. We do these annually at work down here from *shock* scrapping from projects instead of putting the material in dumpsters and the real turn out seems to dwindle to just the real fisherman; The one's wanting to just try it out slowly become rare.

I'm the bad ocean fisherman, but I keep going because it's fun! I keep my line in the water, but all I'm catching are seagulls, Sea Lions, and might get some Rock Fish. I believe I've only pulled in a 6 yellow fin over the last 7 years going. It's fun and worth $150 so don't get me wrong.

On a coworker's personal boat, that's another story....he's serious and knows where to go [here in San Diego] and we can nail whatever we're after that morning. He always grumbles that the big fishing boats are just collecting the cash and staying out of the real fishermen's way...like an unwritten rule.

Just my opinion as a non-serious fisherman. I'd pay $150 to go even from down here, but I just enjoy being out there fishing with some cool people.
