noisy recieve

All depends on where the noise is coming from. What other than location has changed in the setup? Check your house first by turning off breakers to see if it's sonething in your house. It may be another source. Power lines, transformers, TV receivers, light bulbs, and a number of other things. Is the noise present all the time? Or is it more prevelant at certain times of the day??

This noise source may prove to be impossible to live with and you may consider moving again! The operators may be helpful then again they may tell you to go and take a hike! Try and be an ambassador for the hobby and you may gain some friends.

Try to relocate your antenna as far away from the QRN as you can. If you can use an external noise filter, these can help. Turn your RF gain down and increase your volume. Lastly, mount your antenna at an angle, check and see what direction will make the QRN less.... A angle of 45 degrees may help or even eliminate the noise.

good luck and 73 mechanic

FCC is your ultimate port of call if they're not prepared to address it. If they're interfering with you you can be guaranteed it'll be on the ham bands as well.

put up a flatside dipole [sirio D27] or a 3 element yagi. on flatside verticles are prone to
pick up this kinda noise. or do as your friends say. only 2 options i see
