ARPA has been working on a new technology that could definitely be problematic in the wrong hands. This bullet can change its flight path even after it has been fired to hit a moving target. It is called the Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordnance (EXACTO) and it is a .50 caliber bullet. Although they haven’t explicitly stated how this technology works, DARPA said:

A young engineer has finally cracked the 3D printed weapons code.

An amateur gunsmith has found a way to transfer the stress of an explosive blast to a component that’s actually made of metal—the ammunition!
