Okay need info regarding changing bulbs out to LED's in Midland 79-290

I love this video on Youtube and plan to let me tech do this for me. Problem is , I need specifics on step by step to get this done properly with details on how to do it so hopefully someone has done it and can help with this mod ? ? ?

I've got the same radio. Most components are surface mount, so I'm assuming the LED's are as well. You'll have to look at them and get some that are blue to replace them if you want to change the color. Most likely a mod that will require an eyepiece to see what you are doing ! !

Yeah but the problem comes in with the room factor. The lil compontants you have to put with the LED's have to be in place and I do have the right LED's for the job. That video on Youtube is awesome and I asked him to explain in detail but sofar NO response. I hope to God he responds and gives me the low down on it, but it appears you only need to change out the componants inside the detachable face !

Apparently not many people have did, as the response has been slow comming in and with all due respect yours wasn't very helpful. I do appriciate the response though and God bless ! 73's Retro

He will reply,but takes time dunno why

I contacted him and always takes about a few weeks to reply,he must be pretty busy
