Howdy All,

I am considering selling off some test equipment since I have not been using it for years now. Wonder if there is any interest or what street value might be. The stuff is stacked out of the way so this is from memory:

Tek 100 MHz oscilloscope (something like a 2232)
Tek 494 spectrum analyzer (this did have intermittent PLL error)
HP 8902 (might be an 8901 and might have Option 1) modulation analyzer

If anyone is interested in details I'll take a look and get pics.

I'm always looking for test equipment!

With option 001 the HP8901 has the connectors on the back of the unit. Can you confirm the model and option please? I may be interested. Thanks!

HP8901B Option 002 is what I was thinking of, high stability reference. (and Option 004).

I powered this unit up and all displays work. I connected a 100 MHz RF input and it measured to the last decimal. I do not have a modulation source to test right now.

Tek 2430A scope has issues. First it did not complete boot and no display. 2nd time it booted and went into self test, and when exiting a noisy trace froze. The attenuators clicked as usual.

Tek 496 SPA. Seems to work, a little wobbly at lower resolutions.

pics coming...

I'm kinda just wondering the interest and value. I think the 8901 is the gem in the pot.

All this equipment is old and the scope issue is most disappointing... :(

Some nice stuff there. I sold most of my test equipment year ago, mostly due to its size and lack of use. I would like to have some newer equipment that is a lot more convenient but can't really justify the cost.

I'm talking to a guy locally. I'm offering him a package for $500, but of course that is a convenience and broken down thusly ($50 scope, $150 SPA, $300 MA).

The scope was booting fine this morning and would complete self test with 5000 WP failing. The SPA shows an intermittent PLL phase lock error. I included a picture of an FM modulating signal. The MA works fine, but I am not able to test accuracy.

One off's I'm guessing would be about double, except for the MA which would be more negotiable. I'd price them that way for the value of the working modules if needing to part out on ebay.

Moleculo, that's exactly what's happened here. I guess I let it sit too long. I thought I'd look into the Discovery module from Analog Devices and play with some new tech. Orders are to sell off this old junk first, LOL.
