Currently I'm running a Sirio Gain master ground plane. I'm building a 40 foot crank up tilt tower mast for a set of 4 element Gizmotchys. My question is I'd also like to put to ground plane on the tower also but I'm not sure where or how it should be mounted in relation to the beams. Above it? Beside it, as to not affect the performance of the beam? If I put it above the beam will the pole affect the beam in performance or swr. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'll post a couple pics with so you have a good idea of the tower I'm building. Just a couple pics I got offline that gave me the idea. Thanks

I think you have two threads about this same thing.
I replied in the other thread.

Put t.hat vertical on top of the beams. How much separation? As much as you can get and still be practical about it. Of course they will affect each other, but that's not always worth worrying about. That 'affect' will be constant, not variable, since the two antennas don't change their relative position to each other. The absolute most bestest way of doing it? Separate towers, 1/4 mile apart. Good luck with that :)
