Stryker 497hpc with the 4 mosfets finals, would like to have schematic with pot locations please

contact stryker and see if they can give you the info you need. in the past I have called them for a radio they make and they have sent me the info no problems from them sending it out to you

Well I did that, and Shawn sent me the schematic for the older style one, not the SMD version. I know somebody out there has to have this schematic.

The problem I'm having is 1) low receive and 2) I want to do the nasty swing mod on this radio. So far, can't figure either out cause I have no map... Where's Dora when you need her?

Maybe the SMD/ MOSFET unit is almost identical in electronic design to the old one, just the components are obviously a different size? (Except for the MOSFETS in the final PA section. Could be just the "amp board" is different?)

Do the components jive, like lets say for example, is C151 the same value on both old schematic and new SMD board?

No, they do not. It's a totally different beast. A lot of things would be much easier to repair if schematics and such was readily available and I don't understand why they aren't. I guess it's the whole "throw it away" thing...

To clear this up, I know it's old too but if you run a shop and do actual repairs to other peoples radios then you can sign up for the dealer portal at Stryker and they'll give you access to this material. You'll have to look it up by board revisions of course so you get the correct one.

So if you don't know what you're doing, they don't want you poking around inside your radio and possibly causing more damage. If all else fails, email them and ask for the correct schematic for what you're tinkering with, they just might send it to you.
