How much do your assistants draw?

Bob your own post are contradictory, Class "C" amps operated normally will not draw more power that the A/B amps. There are still openings on the "Go Fund Me" site.

Data sheets? I don't need no stinking data sheets!
If we can't trust engineers who designed the semiconductors, who then?

Bear in mind that class C comp style amps draw more current on stock volts for a given output than a class AB amp designed for stock volts.

(bob85, posted) normally class C amps designed with correct load lines for stock voltage would pull less current than a class AB amp, you would expect something like 40% vs 55-60-% efficiency for properly designed amps,

DRAG RACE AMPS?:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Want more power from your amp? Hang two four barrels on it.

Comp is the adjective that keeps getting overlooked. The picture of the man with his head in his arse is appropriate but misdirected.

That selfie you posted has all the signs its been photoshopped Tallman,
i don't see the stick,

as an alternative to your usual posting stupid selfies & incorrect words,
would you like to explain load lines & their relationship to vcc,

its amp building 101,
a smart guy like you should have no problem explaining it in a way that folk on here can understand.

It would do no good for you since your head is plainly in a dark place. Did you learn anything about electronics from your "Go Fund ME" school yet? It is your own quotes that contradict each other.

Don't feel bad, I've been there. I had this discussion with Bob a few years ago on another forum and I couldn't believe I was wrong either. Books are good.

He doesn't even believe that transistors can function as switches. When he gets his Full License for the English amateur radio service I'll listen to him.

There is no contradiction in what i posted to anybody that can read English Tallman,
read it half a dozen times, see if it sinks in,

you have never tested a comp style amplifier so you are guessing,

can you explain load impedance vs vcc or not ?
im guessing not otherwise you would not be talking shit and shoving things up your ass again,

I agree it won't do me any good if you explain it,
but it will prove im correct if you get your explanation from a respected source of learning ;),

Until then you're just another ignorant fool passing gas.

Ok. I'm not going to get into the personal battle. I'm in 100% agreement with you that a class C amplifier will draw less current than one running in class B or AB as long as they are otherwise the same. The comp amp was not designed to be ran at normal voltage or ran at normal drive levels. Even though it is class C it may not be as efficient as a commercially made amp like a Texas Star when they are ran the way a sane person would operate an amplifier for rag chew.

Drag race amp was his term not mine. He is running with a broken crank shaft.

In post #7 he said

"Bear in mind that class C comp style amps draw more current on stock volts for a given output than a class AB amp designed for stock volts.

comp style amps are very thirsty on stockvolts."

Then you posted the pic of the man with his head in the mud. If you delete, or just ignore, "comp style" from his post he would be dead wrong.

Here's an easy one,

The original poster was asking about current draw when using low gain amplifiers,
he wanted to know how many amps other peoples similar amps draw,

4 X 1446 amplifiers do not draw 66a or anywhere near that when correctly designed,

can you explain why comp style amps have low gain & low efficiency when operated on stock voltage,
the datasheet claims significantly more gain, can you explain why ?.

i already told you, so did 543, who by the way did take the time to go find the truth from a respected source of learning,

You got involved again so im presuming you have more to offer than posting selfies and talking shit ?.

I also have a question about the breaker amperage in the breaker panel. I am now running 3 50 amp supplies connected together. I have seen mention of using multiple outlets. I also have noticed when I plug in on a wall that I have my 110v wire feed welder(30a breaker) I am seeing a larger amp draw from the supplies. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.
