Jokerman wants $8 each for FQP13N10's but Mousers only wants $.453 each for them. Unlike Jokerman I know if I buy from Mouser I will not be getting counterfeit parts! At that price point you might as well buy the upgraded parts from Eric at Palomar. If you bought 10 of those from Jokerman you could get bjt's from RF parts or you could get close to 200 of FQP13N10's from Mousers because their 100 count price is $.453 or $45 per 100!

So if we assume he is buying 100 at a time than he is charging 17X what he is paying for them! Must be nice if he actual gets many takers at that price. Please tell me none of our members pay that for FQP13N10's!!!

some guys are wanting to get rich off this stuff. there is a guy trying to sell the red devil mics for 117.00 shipped. usually they are less than 30.00 shipped most of the time. I just bought one for 14.99 shipped new in the package. now that is a deal for sure. did not need it but could not pass it up at that price. being retired I have lots of time to look on ebay.
here is the link

They claim these are noise cancelling but they aren't. Any trucker who uses these mics will sound like he is sitting on the wing of an airplane.

LOL.....I am going to use that "Any trucker who uses these mics will sound like he is sitting on the wing of an airplane." as someone that is trained pilot I actual understand just how loud that would be between engine noise and wind noise! LOL Being an Army Brat I am well aware of how loud all sorts of machines with diesels or turbines can be! LOL I lived 2 miles from a large test range at Ft. Benning Ga. I could hear missals, artillery and all sorts of weapons being tested all the time. Every morning at 4:30 I had soldiers outside my window singing cadence while running and helicopter flew over the house rather low all the time day and night! LOL

So Yes the idea of a power mic that is also noise cancelling has always made me laugh!

I will say this trucks have been getting quieter and softer riding massively in the last 6-8 years. A lot of company trucks are often owner operator spec which is nice! They are constantly getting better! It would not surprise me if in another 10 years you will not be able to tell much difference. They are also not as hot as they used to be inside.
