Usable schematic for the Uniden PC-409 Chassis?

Robb, the radio you have does it have a single or duel finals and does it have channels? they made so many different versions its hard to find the one you have with the PC409 board in it. I know they had one from President and one from Uniden with the grant name on them.
Nope, just a standard 40ch CB radio w/SSB.
Look at the schematic and see.

The only difference that I can see, is that the Grant is a single conversion receiver, while the 148 is a double conversion receiver. Other than that, it is very similar.
I think the pre-amp audio circuit is little different also, IIRC.
(but, I'm not going to reference the schematic to verify :p)
Great rigs, I love the older President/Uniden radios.

thanks Robb, I am searching every thing I have said over the years and am coming up blank with any info on that board. I think I just saw a page for alignment on the Defpom site a little bit ago if you do not have one.

Thanks guys!

That worked out. Someone gave me a Uniden President Grant w/o any covers on the radio, so I have to find a stock set of covers somewhere too. Fortunately, they are much like the side mic 148, since this is also a 5 pin side mic radio as well and hopefully will be easy to locate.

But I have to unbugger the radio from channel mods and hacked front switches - first. The clarifier mod done to it still needs to be reworked as well.
Robb is their anyone local like a tinsmith or the like that could make you some tins?

When those are running right have fresh caps and a solid alignment those are really good radio's! I can not tell you how many people I have talked to that think they are junk. Really if you could keep the golden screwdrivers out of them and just maintenance them they were really nice radios for the time. No they where not Stoners or CPI's but still solid radios.

I have a silver, push button grant, pc-409 board. Great radio. Has the 2 switch channel mod though. Loaned it to my brother and he never hooked it up. Need to get it back.
