Which one? Both are about $190 or so..

503 is 1 driving 8

And the 7505 appears a 4? But not sure..

I know low 2-3w drive.. I have 203 model. I was thinking of this for a base with an Antron or Imax..

I think you're right -

7505 is 4 x 455's I believe.

503 uses 8 irf520s + 1 as driver

I wouldn't buy either. I had nothing but bad luck with the larger RM amps. Never had an issue with the KL203 or KL200P but their 2 pills (KL300) and 4 pills I've seen SWR issues and a failure. Granted that was 5+ years ago but I stopped buying their larger models after that.

If you need more watts than a KL203 I'd suggest looking for something a little higher end. Or even an older used amp with 2879's or 1446's would take more abuse than either of those shown and probably last longer.

Whats your radio setup like? I have a KL503 it works ok, the wattage is nowhere close to advertised. If I remember correctly is was a 150 watts max for keeping the waveform linear. I also did some mods, it wouldn't work on SSB out of the box.

I'd get a Texas Star but I figured for the $250-300 for used, a new one of thr RM would be better for less $$
