Just began using one of these.

30 amps continuous/32 amps surge 7"W x 7"D x 2.5"H Wt: 5 lbs Price: $170

No electrical interference at all. It has a dial on the front for eliminating noise, but most reviewers report never using it. Looks like I won't be either.

Fan only runs when needed and is silent. Lighted volt/amp meter.

10 amp cigarette plug on front. Also two sets of 5 amp clip plugs.

The wires in the pic are for the lighted display on my SWR/Power meter.

Is it worth the difference in price over the dependable MegaWatt power supplies? That's a tough question considering one could buy three of the 30-amp MegaWatts for the price of one of these. Then again, the Astrons are high, too. Personally, I love it because it is so quiet (don't hear it at all) and I enjoy having the meter.

I've had Astrons all my life. Bought this Alinco power supply about a year ago and it's been great. Super quiet, cool and zero hash. I just might buy a second for backup.

Update.
Have had this a couple of months now and all I can say is I love it.
Just checked the voltage. It's exactly where I first set it: 13.80.
Doesn't make a sound that I can hear.
Zero interference.

In a word: Perfect.
