OK, on another thread, I mentioned the current issue many owners are complaining about. Undeterred, I went ahead and bought one. I currently have it up and running on my 24 hour live feed. If you listen in the background, you can hear the noise. I have heard that the Uniden 436HP has a similar issue.
Currently, Uniden is aware and some owners have been told that they are awaiting a corporate decision. I hav't had any complaints submitted yet from any of my listeners. If there is no fix from Uniden...I'll send it back. It's ridiculous that this $700 FLAGSHIP sounds like a TURD.
edit: $785 turd. I had to pay for the DMR upgrade.
