The video is too grainy to tell but looks like it may have a bias circuit. The chokes from the input transformers to ground is connected to a resistor. He should stick to peaking and tuning radios.

BBi won't cry. He will profit from repairing these things. The customer will cry.

For the most part they're all the same. Pile as many transistors as you can onto the the smallest heatsink possible, cram that in the smallest/cheapest case possible, install cool looking fan that wouldn't blow out a candle, install decals and charge the customer as much as you can.

If Lester is selling these as a kit that just means he doesn't have to support the product after the sale. It will always be the customer's problem. Just like the channel board I had that kept burning up crystals. He's never heard of that happening and it was not his problem.

I think that's a mistake video not meant to be public.
He admits to wanting to buy BBI amps but went to his own.
