guess i gotta open my ears might hear you both,im usually home days cept when im needed to truck.best part of semi retired trucking 2 or 3 days a week.set home n bs on radio.id put 1 in the semi but we got 4 on the farm n im never sure which 1 im drivin nextI hear you Leo...CQ CQ...break break...back to you...here I am.

No Zello here. Know what it is but dont use it. I can see it could be useful though.
now i haul grain,now n then i run the dump truck and from the looks of it im going to haul some driveway rock soon as we are swampy muddy. But now and then i go haul a farm machine home too. They got 4 grain wagons,1 dump truck,3 straight grain trucks and a moveall machinery trailerRwb , What are you hauling ? Grains , Cattle , Silage ,haylage , hay ? Or all of listed ?
I must say I retired from working @ the farm almost 3 years ago & don't really miss it ! Towards the end State Pd & DMV cops got to be a PIA , Farm plate or not , even on short silage runs . Seems like they had nothing better to do then B our B's when we just trying to earn a living ! You know as I all farmers are rich !

oh yes cops live to hit the breadbasket no concern about why just enforce easy pickings laws.they let bad ppl fly by n nail the hard honest working ppl.I must say I retired from working @ the farm almost 3 years ago & don't really miss it !
Im on s.s. Retired but that measly check dont keep my ammo n radio supplys up.i just work part time maybe 2 to 3 weeks a month.start at 6 am n done by 3 pm daily
Rwb , not bad hours for sure on a farm ! We do what we have to do to fund our hobbies . But when I retired ... I retired . The only time I go to the farm now is every 2 weeks & the only work I do is getting my hay from the loft that I have stored there . Then a few quick hand shakes , & I'm gone ..... !

Rwb , It's getting close to Spring , I'm going to have sneak in & out as they always " Try " & recruit me to fix all machinery that's been stored in the sheds all winter & my favorite playing & spreading big bags of fertilizer ! I never should have put that loud exhaust on my truck !
