Channel 38 LSB dx skip northern utah 4-27-2019 8pm-9:30pm


On channel 38 lsb just last night I was talking to person on the radio all the way Santa Barber,Ca 820miles yesterday i was hitting S9 on him.also you can hear ch38 lsb locals in orange county,ca i was getting people from LA just talking each last night the skip switch everything southern ca and OR at sametime then it went SLC locals 40miles away the skip roll out.the skip last about hour on lsb on channel 38 last night in northern utah.

It's interesting sometimes ......Contact with Dr. Pepper out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Brief contact with someone in MS. (lost it), There was Melancon from LA, that's coonass for Lower Alabama. Two guys came in strong from FL talking about antennas and height. Most, for some reason I found on 19 AM, some on 28 AM, yes the bowl rolled.....but more like a swish and was gone. For a spell could hear garbled convo from LSB 38, but unable to participate due to two sick 148's and having only the 497 up. But it did get interesting until 10 or 11.
 
i always miss it, so upsetting. got the mobile setup and still haven't had the chance to keydown yet. in the NW corner

    Hello I have a old school 2950 receives great on all modes and transmits great on AM but no transmit on SSB. Does anyone have any idea?
