That antenna setup is same thing I am using. HF telescopic flag pole and an A-99. I have a 4' electrical PVC pipe bolted to a post on my chain link fence. Dropped the flag pole into that and take it up to the full 20'. Works pretty good for budget rig and can be disassembled quickly if a storm were coming. Otherwise, I just leave it shortened but, upright and only extend it all when I know I going to use it or low wind speeds are forecasted.

Im gonna take the Antron down in a few weeks, as soon as the Sirio 2016 get delivered. This apartment thing is kinda cool, but the Antron does invite alot of stray noises that are very frustrating, and ones I've never heard. But thankful that there is people that are good in this world, to allow me to have an antenna on my balcony.
