Why? If you can get something very good that blows away all that you listed for your price range why not do it?

The point of the post to see whom had these rigs and basically ask for feedback on them.

I have an HF rig and granted if I add a switch I could toggle between my Ranger 296 or the Alinco DXSR-8T HF rig.

I was looking for a dedicated 'back-up' rig for that with extra channels. I don't want an HF rig.

Okay I get it. I have heard nothing but good stuff about the AnyTone 6666.

I'm leaning toward the 6666. Has good SSB power and has good reviews thus far on here. Wouldn't need an amp with it more than likely if skip is rolling like it has been lately. I did a Wisconsin contact from here in NY with less than 14w.. so 40-50w should make it work pretty well.

Trying to keep under $350.. so really new HF rigs are not in the mix. I don't really want used rig..

Anyone else have feedback on the listed CB/10m rigs?

For myself, I have never had the need to go above an export radio to make many contacts around the world. So since 2002 I have used nothing but a 2950dx, 2970dx and once in a while a 2970n2. I made many of contacts on the other side of the planet just using a 2950dx (barefoot) - so the 2950dx would work just fine for you on 11 meters.

I owned a new 2950CD in January. The display straight died after 28 days of occasional use. Granted the service dept fixed it and had it back to me in 3.5 weeks.. but it gave me a bad taste on the new 2950CD. I have since sold the 2950CD for a substantial loss for like $215 after fees and shipping.

If I could find the older 2970 with 2 transistors in it I might be game..or hit the lottery and just go with the 2970n4.. I heard the early 2970n2 has/had mosfet issues.. granted I don't key up for quick qso's.. so I dunno..

You can get a bad radio from any company.
Bought a icom 746 pro new years back from a major vendor. It was bad right out of the box. Sent it back & they replaced it.
There are several HF rigs with good noise blankers but there are some types of noise
that even DNR can't eliminate.
