Recommendations for a ham mobile with 11 meters

Several ways to read that:

1). Your 1984 Crossfire Injection System already has enough gremlins.

2). You forgot that cars are to be used.

3). You aren’t really a radio operator. But you stay at XYZ Hotel chain once in a while.

“Purity” about a car might make sense if your Dad had owned it. Well, it’s yours, do what you will. But there aren’t any aesthetic points gained. Bias ply tires, like points ignition or using 1960s lubricants, just make the whole “purity” thing an exercise in wrong-headedness.

.
LOL well its a 1975 and yes it is a used car. I don't want a radio in it because I don't have a radio in any car anymore. Mobile radio is not an interest for me anymore so I don't bother. As for what the Vette is for it is my get away from everyone and just drive car. It's slow, uncomfortable and I love it.

If I was wealthy I may think about owning a Vet, but I would never put any rig inside one. Money would be spent on an elaborate communications van with the roof clustered with various antennas. I want some serious metal with good grounding under my antennas, not fiberglass. Fiberglass vehicles such as that are only good for traveling down Santa Monica Blvd with your nasty redhead.

Stealth is the way to go.
Vee Dub style.
Looks tame on the outside.
But under the body is a Corvette C4.
400 HP V8, gearbox brakes and most of the interior.
Sleeper?
Maybe.
