AND THERE IT IS!! LOLFace it, Trump is a piss poor orator. Does he believe planes were around back then? Of course NOT. Trump rambles so much that even HE loses place where he is in his speeches and this was just such a huge screw-up it is hard to not make fun of ESPECIALLY in light of him lambasting previous presidents ESPECIALLY Obama for using teleprompters. LOL
When something as ridiculous as this happens, I look at past history for similarities and explanations. That's how I learn. What I've seen is both of the Presidents teleprompters cut right off in mid speech over a year ago. Then I ask myself how many times has that ever happened to a President on live TV before? Calling Trump a piss poor orator is not nearly as accurate as calling the speech writer a piss poor writer. You honestly believe he lost his spot and simultaneously forgot planes weren't invented until the Wright brothers? You've not considered reading out loud from a script makes it real easy to say what is printed before giving it considerable thought.
I'll also say with due respect, you appear to only know what your media has planted in your mind over the last 3 years about Trump. Living in Canada does limit the amount of background information you've been exposed to regarding our President. I've lived 30 miles from his NYC tower all my life and am much more familiar with his past before the media went 93% negative 3 years ago. I see the media has worked well on you Captain.
I was never a fan of Trump's. I always thought he was a horse's rear end. Maybe he is. However I am glad he was elected President, although he was never my first choice. I could not stand any more politically correct B.S.. plus i get a huge laugh looking at all the liberals losing their freaking minds. it is quite sad actually.
That speech he gave on the 4th was awful. Plus I don't believe the military show was needed. That being said I will vote for him in 2020 given the clown show the democrats have put on.
Where we really need to pay attention is on term limits. Make these guys and gals have to live with the decisions the make for us little pee ons. No more careers on the tax payers dime.

I stand by what I said as for Trump being a piss poor orator. Just listen to him for God's sake. He is CONSTANTLY repeating himself as if he is attempting to convince the masses of something.....he backtracks and says things twice, he repeats himself and and then throws in COMPLETELY irrelevant stuff....NO COLLUSION.....etc. YES HE IS A PISS POOR ORATOR!! That comment is NOT political but simply based on his past speeches and interviews where a speech writer was NOT involved.
As for what you THINK I have been exposed too about Trump.....I only base my comments on what he has said on LIVE TV not on some commentators show.
Other Presidents like Obama were better at delivering a prepared speech but Trump is a better defender of America. I'll take action over lip service any day. Having said that, I find where Trump's blunt ability to say it like it is, to be rather refreshing as opposed to watering down the content to avoid hurt feelings.
That is much better than just relying on the pundits but it still doesn't cover much of the work he did locally during the 1980's. Things that did not make national headlines back then but gave locals a good sense of what he could accomplish. Many only know Trump from the TV show on. They are not familiar with all the private construction projects where his ability to cut through red tape, reduced construction times and costs.
How he was not self centered and offered his skills on city projects that had been stuck in limbo for a many years. Providing amenities for NYC tax payers at a reduced cost. He can handle any bureaucrat one on one but it takes the entire "resistance" to slow him down today. Here, he's known as the "get the job done guy" to anyone old enough to remember the 1980's and that's why he got my vote in 2016 and will again in 2020. I'll add that he hasn't lost much of his energy and none of his motivation in the last 35 years either.
Oh I and others are quite aware of how Trump operates.

I like us having a "bully" for a President. About time after having smooth talking wimps for POTUS.
Trump had my vote in 2016 and will again in 2020.

LOL, look at stories published before the day he came down the escalator and announced he would run for president. Even supporters can't find a positive story on Trump after that day because that's when the entire worldwide media went 93% negative overnight. The man didn't change a bit but all stories did immediately.

There is only one problem I have with all of this. He truly did not win the popular vote.
It was the electorial college that gave him his office.
