Thanks for the add. I'm looking to put a astatic desk mic on my at-6666 and it comes with a4 pin connector does anyone know if their is a 4 to 6 pin adaptor for this radio??? Thanks for any info.
 

Lol I know but it is a great performing radio so far and they say the stock mic sounds great but I use it as a base and don't like holding the hand mic!!!

The Uniden 980 adapter will work to go from 4-6.

Performance wise the factory mic may sound better as is a higher impedence then 'most' older style mics.

Try it and see how it sounds to you and your fellow locals that you usually talk with.

I've got a AT-6666. After reading everything on this forum and elsewhere I decided to just stay with the stock hand mic. Good audio reports.
