Yes sorry forgot to say it had this on it and it is coming from the high low switch

So here is my best guess.

One end of the 10-Watt resistor is completely broken off. I think this is the solid conductor you see sticking out of the black shrink sleeve at the end of the red wire.

The other end of the 10-ohm resistor, the end that still has a lead wire on it was soldered to the circuit board beneath the fat filter capacitors, at some spot out of the camera's view.

I'm baffled so far. Where does the red wire lead to at the other end?

You said "High/Low switch". The top lug, center or bottom? Does the switch have six lugs? Or just three?

Would sure help to have a diagram. Only way you'll have one is to draw it yourself.

Is there a way to instantly message on this
It's a two wire set up
One is a yellow wire and the other is a red wire the one that goes to nothing besides the wire wound resistor

The red wire that came apart from the resistor has two ends. The one that came loose from the resistor and the other end.

The other end is attached to something. You made it seem as if that wire has something to do with the High/Low switch.

This is the first mention of the yellow wire that I remember so far. Looks like it should lead to a switch on the front marked "SSB". Or maybe to a capacitor attached to that switch.

Okay, you lost me there. The pic showing the sockets of the four final tubes has no yellow wire visible.

If you're talking about a yellow wire attached to one of the sideways pair of relays, the pic doesn't show where it's attached to the relay.

Just not getting the big picture so far.

That yellow wire is connected to pins 5 and 9 of the tube socket, looks like.

If so, this will be a negative DC grid-bias voltage from the power supply. Typically between 8 and 10 Volts. But how the power supply produces this negative DC voltage is a whole 'nother question.

That wire is going to the switch that has the broken wire wound resistor on it that I have no clue to where it goes do you know where I can get a diagram for this at
