Hmmmmm . . . yeah . . .
Ya think they are up to something no good?
Ya think?!?

Here is a video by Gun Guy TV from YouTube. It is a little windy and takes about ~17 min to watch. But if you are a Amateur radio operator ANYWHERE in the US; then I suggest you might take the time and understand what is happening.
Can't wait to hear comments!
PS - this is also true for any CB radio ops working with emcoms - few as they may be.

This has been ongoing for about a month.

There are certain Amateurs operating in the background that think they speak for, and should control all EMCOMM in SoCal

One of them is the know it all smart azz in this video, He and the arrl Pacific section manager, and the arrl president have all basically told the repeater people to just shut up and not to cause any waves

I won't mention the call, but, just listen for the arrogant azz , and figure it out for yourself.

Bottom line, the state can do anything they want with a repeater site, however, that doesn't mean that LOUD PUBLIC complaints should not be made.

I'm not an EMCOMM type , but, IMO, this is plain BS.

I am not into emcomms either, but since that is the point that gets brought up in Washington most often when certain entities want to infringe on our antenna rights; this could be a very bad precedent to have set.

There’s no “legal “ weapons law of any sort, for example. None. Crew served-weapons, to a Perry-Class frigate. It’s not just personal arms defense. To defend one’s self means, ipso facto, “adequacy”.

The goody two shoes of Amateur Radio will be the first to rat on those others not paying by bureaucratic rules. “Sensible regulations”

Want simplicity? Show us where the law was debated on the House floor. The Senate. Those are laws. Congress can’t delegate this. All other powers belong to the people.
