Just made contact with 995 in NC....this is W711 Keystone....Nice QSO. Made contact initially at 100 watts then went to 1000....LOL
Tough conditions for sure, but very clear copy on both you and Farmer brown...both had great sounding stations, too.
Man that's cool, I was also able to make a short contact with him he is sounding good down in the razorback
Heard you back in there Farmer Brown, but my conditions fell apart. Had about an S5 on you, but couldn’t make it back

I heard you call me and I keyed back up and my radio went pop pop pop pop. I had to replace the 4 IRF520's on the right side. Turned the bias down to 3.20v on the gates. Hopefully it might last a bit longer than a few days. But hey, Just talked to North Texas off my stock Cobra 2000 GTL. lol

I let a mint 2000 GTL get away some years ago because I didn't realize my friend would have sold it to me. About a month later he showed it to another friend and my feathers dropped lol.
Maybe another one will come my way before too long.
