I've been working on this forever.... and have been keeping some other folks abreast of these "goings on" and thought I would drop the same here in case anyone is interested.
Over a year... I have been pining for Lou Franklins 3 Book Repairman's Special with the Screwdriver book, the PLL Handbook , and the big one. But for the longest, got no answer.
About 3 weeks ago I called the fax number (a wild idea!) to see if it answered. Well, a fax didn't answer....but Lou on an answering machine DID. Said his email delivery system has been broken for the year. Apparently a friend came to his aid and got it working. So, I sent him an email...and had an answer PERSONNALLY.... responding to the content of my email....in under 5 minutes from Lou.
Now....making a long story shorter....
Last weekend was at my son's house near Austin and telling him this story....he said that HE wanted to get it for me as my Christmas gift this year.
Making it a little shorter..... over the past 6 days I have exchanged emails with Lou 5 maybe six times. On Monday morning, my son put the order in per Lou's directions...via PayPal. Monday night around 10 central....Lou sent an email acknowledging receipt of the order AND payment.... vowed to get it shipped quickly and said I should have the order by the weekend but no later than Monday.
If anyone is interested..... I'll let you all know when it comes in......
