I'd be comfortable with him, but I'd have sweet pleasant dreams if Dr. Carslon fixed my junk. His knowledge and attention to detail is extreme. Mikes vids are hard to watch. He takes to long to get to the point, rambles and gets sidetracked easily and has a nervous nature about him.

His asymod video made me feel like he was another YouTube tech with an agenda. He injected a 20 or 30k tone into it and showed how wide the "splatter" was. He proved that it worked but spun it to make it look like bad product.

Me, at the retail/appointments/service counter of the motorcycle shop , five minutes after closing , after a half hour of attempting to convince a customer it isn't worth fixing:
"yes sir that will be at least $1000" "no I do not take payments on service or parts" "excuse me sir I have to take this call" "this may take a while sir , would you like to come back later" Meanwhile back at the phone ..."I'm sorry sir I do not give discounts to people with fixed incomes"...as the caller hangs up < pick up small gas can and put it on the counter next to my zippo lighter in front of the customer and yell into the disconnected phone> "what do you take me for a charitable institution ! if I was going to work for free I'd do something important like remove ignorant humans like you from the face of the earth by dowsing them in gasoline and setting fire to them !!! "have a nice day" I say to vacuum that milliseconds ago contained the customer that would not leave. AHHH ! Beer thirty at last as I close the door on another day.

So, customer service skills? Not so much. Idiots? not at all. Charity cases? Charity begins at home. Advice? Those that ask wont listen and those you volunteer it to don't want it.

The exceptions? Several here have given freely of their time and experience. My self imposed obligation is to do the same , to those that can tolerate my difficult and acerbic nature.

Well I'm sorry I dont have a disposable income like the rest of you boomers. Things do happen to some of us so we cant work and get on a limited income.

I watched this video just to see what it was all about. I guess I kind of like the snickering...tends to get a chuckle from me too, and the wife gets to laugh at me for watching dorky YouTube videos.

The only real negative comments I saw about the asymod was the statements that it’s more or less ripped off from Motormouth maul. I can’t say I know one way or the other on that issue; not something I have followed.

He actually gave the asymod a thumbs up as far as the product doing what it’s advertised to do.

LOL, I'm 58. I just discovered last week that I'm one of those Boomer dudes. I thought the cutoff was being birthed in the 50's.

The asymod guy definitely ripped off motor mouth's board. My first was built on a copper board by a friend. At the time the mmm boards weren't being made. I bought a couple of the first gen asymod boards when they were being phased out and sold for $50.

I thought Mike was trying to smear the whole idea because no one is going to be modulating the thing with 25 khz. That shows it's capability but most people will see that it's 5 channels wide on his spec analyzer and don't understand why....they just know it's bad.

I agree. He goes on rants and rambles on. I lose interest quickly. I suffer from ADD and it's hard for me to hold attention if it's too boring

I have no issue with the silent generation. The boomers are the ones I have issues with as they have destroyed our environment with their damn greed love on money and overindulgence...
