I know there’s at least a couple folks that aren’t overly impressed with them, but I’ve been extremely happy with my Daiwa. I will never know exactly how accurate it is, but at the very least it’s an active peak-reading meter, and certainly has a much nicer feel to it than any of the cheaper meters I’ve played with.
But I’m with you...maybe the Madison should come first!
That meter has some age to it. A broken knob and the needle sticks on the SWR and the MOD meter. The power meter works, sort of. But it will have to do till I get a new one.

Rt , Nice ! I have pieces of the dipole lying around , NE Wx took it's toll on it & it was & original . What rotor are you using on your 4 element ? I have one that " Looked " nice but then found out it was a TV rotor . Once I get it mine up after all this time , don't want to take chances on a rotor .

the upper portion of the 27mhz band.
It has a 1.0 SWR at 27.555.0. SWR on 26.965.0 is 1.7. I normally run 27.385.0 and up.

It will be added to the bottom..These are 2" conduit. Have the coupler to screw them together. Just waiting for the weather to warm up.

RT: When you tuned the beam for the higher section of the band, did you simply adjust the Gamma match to the newer section?
Or did you adjust element length and spacing to optimize for the higher frequency?

I found the specs online. It consists of shortening the boom and readjusting the elements length and spacing and readjusting the gamma. I have the spec sheet I found online a few yrs back.
